Step 4: Decide on Where to Eat

So, you know how you’re getting to Anaheim, where you’re staying and what your daily plan is.  Let’s talk food!

Disneyland and California Adventure have plenty of dining options to consider.  Use the sorting tool to narrow down what you want based on type, price and ratings.  Some restaurants encourage reservations.  I recommend making reservations at all “Table Service” restaurants.

To make reservations, call (714) 781-DINE (3463) between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM daily (Pacific Time).

Special Event Dining with Reserved Seating for Shows, character meals, reservations and more should also be considered before going to the parks.

Dining plans are available exclusively as a part of a Walt Disney Travel Company Vacation package. This plan allows you to pay for dining with vouchers, instead of cash.  Vacation Packages are available to those park goers staying at a Disneyland Resort or a Good Neighbor Hotel.

What I suggest: Review your daily plan and then pencil in where you want to eat.  Look at your maps to coordinate.  Disneyland cast members will search your bags upon entry to the parks, however, food and drinks are allowed in.

Money saving tip:  Consider packing snacks or even a meal (if you don’t mind carrying it) to eat at a select picnic area at the park.

Now to Step 5: Plan Park Touring!
